The 2011 Hyundai Accent was launched in the Philippines last year December 2, 2010.
The new Accent is bigger, packs more style and runs in a new gasoline engine. It’s truly a big update to it predecessor in terms of its looks outside and inside. It has a more defining curve modern lines shape that makes it bigger and aero dynamically efficient. The headlight and tail light are big and shape more of a tear drop type that contours around extending to fender side body.
The accent is sold here in the Philippines in types of engine and transmission. A 1.6liter 4 speed automatic and a 1.4liter 5 speed manual petrol engine. A diesel engine to follow in the months to come.
I tested the old accent back in 2006 with a diesel engine for Car of the year, and I was surprise how it kicks. Strong pony looking car that had a horses heart. This new Accent is no pony looking anymore. It will be a very competitive to it auto segment competitors. Not just with its power and looks. Especially how attractively price 2011 Accent is.
Php588,000 1.4-liter GL 5speed manual, and Php808,000 1.6-liter GLS 4speed automatic.
